COVID Safety Guidelines

In February we announced that we removed our requirement that members be fully vaccinated against COVID 19 to be able to attend U3A classes. This change was in line with the Premier’s announcement at the time.

I can now announce that the Premier has recently relaxed the mask wearing requirements, and therefore mask wearing is no longer required indoors at U3A activities.

I would however remind you of the following ongoing COVID Safety requirements:

• Remember to maintain social distancing by keeping 1.5 metres apart.

• Hot water facilities for drinks are available at some venues. Please remember to take your own cup or mug. Tea and coffee etc are available at the Banksia Centre venue.

• Please practise good hand washing – hand sanitiser will be available at each venue.

• Please assist your course leader by wiping down your chair/table after use – antiseptic wipes will be provided.

MOST IMPORTANTLY, please stay home and avoid contact with others if you are feeling at all unwell.
